During his visit, Vaishaw also interacted with the passengers who were waiting on the platforms, most of them gave positive feedback and were satisfied with the crowd management efforts of the Railway Protection and Force (RPF) and other officials. According to passengers, they were easily able to reach the platform and praised the effective management by the authorities. Vaishnaw while speaking to the media, applauded the railway officials for providing a hassle-free travel experience to the passengers and for maintaining orderly movement.

The railway minister also underlined the Indian Railways effort to manage the surge in the travel demand during the Diwali and Chhath Puja rush. Around 7,435 special trains have been launched in comparison to the previous year’s 4,500 trains. ”Till 31 October, 51 lakh people have boarded these special trains,” the minister further added.
