RailTel, a leading telecom and ICT solutions provider PSU announced a strategic collaboration with Cylus, a top cybersecurity firm specializing in the rail industry. This partnership aims to strengthen the cybersecurity framework of Indian Railways’ extensive infrastructure. RailTel will integrate and deploy Cylus’ proprietary cybersecurity solution, CylusOne, with a focus on fortifying the security of railway signaling systems, including trackside, onboard, and SCADA systems.
The collaboration between Cylus and RailTel will introduce Cylus’ advanced cyber defense technologies to the Indian market, enhancing cybersecurity in the railway and public transport sectors. Cylus will provide specialized services to integrate CylusOne seamlessly into RailTel’s systems, bolstering cybersecurity measures across railway signaling, telecom, and other ICT systems. Additionally, in partnership with RailTel’s Digital Service Partner, Rail Edutech Pvt Ltd, Cylus will offer specialized cybersecurity training programs for railway and industry professionals to strengthen cybersecurity expertise within the Indian rail sector.

This partnership represents a significant step in securing India’s railway infrastructure against emerging cyber threats”, Railtel said in an official statement.
