Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: President Ram Nath Kovind, who is on a four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, will be visiting Ayodhya on Sunday. President Kovind will stay in the city for around four hours and ten minutes.
In view of the President visit, at least a dozen trains on the Ayodhya route are being diverted to ensure security. He left for Ayodhya by presidential train from Charbagh railway station in Lucknow at 9.10 am.
On Saturday, President Kovind laid the foundation stone for the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH Vishwavidyalaya and inaugurated the Mahayogi Gorakhnath Vishwavidyalaya in Gorakhpur.
Here’s the complete schedule of the President’s visit to Ayodhya:
The President will reach Ayodhya Junction by presidential train at 11:30 am. At 11:40, the President will leave for Ramkatha Park by the road along with Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
He will reach Ramkatha Park at 11:50 am. Time will be reserved from 11:50 to 12 noon. Between 12 noon to 1 pm, he will inaugurate the Ramayana Conclave organised at Ramkatha Park and lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various projects of the Department of Culture and Tourism.
The President’s address will take place at 12:45 pm. After the national anthem at 12:55 pm, the President will leave for the Yatri Niwas from Ramkatha Park at one o’clock. At the Yatri Niwas, the timings of 1:50 pm to 2.15 pm will be reserved. Meanwhile, the President will take stock of the progress of Ram Temple’s construction.
Departure from Yatri Niwas at 2.20 pm and he will reach Hanumangarhi at 2.35 pm. The President will visit Hanumangarhi and will have darshan of Ram Lalla. He will also plant saplings in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex from 2.35 pm to 3.15 pm. Departing from the Ramjanmabhoomi complex at 3:15 pm, the President will reach Ayodhya Junction at 3:25 pm. The President will leave for Lucknow by the Presidential train at 3.40 pm.
A total of 82 vehicles will remain in the convoy. This will be the first visit of the President to Ayodhya. The VVIP fleet prepared for their security will consist of 36 vehicles. Apart from this, 16 more vehicles will be included in the Chief Minister’s fleet in the Governor’s fleet.
Behind the President, will be the Fleet of the Governor and then the Chief Minister. Behind them will be the fleet of both the deputy CMs, which will include 14 vehicles. The number of vehicles in the fleet can also be increased from the security point of view, for which additional vehicles have also been arranged.
These vehicles were included in the rehearsal on Saturday before the arrival of the President.
On other VVIP movements, it is possible to increase the convoy of vehicles from the point of view of security. On Sunday, the President will also have darshan of Hanumant Lal in the famous Peeth Hanumagarhi and Ram Lala seated in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex.
The President will reach Hanumangarhi at 14:35 pm. From here, after darshan, worship, his convoy will leave for the Ramjanmabhoomi complex. During the 40-minute program, the President will spend about 25 minutes in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex.
After worshipping Ramlala, the President will plant a sapling of Rudraksha at a distance of a few steps from the seated Ram Lalla. Divisional Forest Officer Divya informed that the site has been selected for planting Rudraksha saplings. Rudraksha plant will be planted in the hands of the President in the south direction at a distance of few steps from the seated Ram Lalla. He said that all the preparations for the plantation have been completed.
Rudraksha is a medicinal tree and has a special place in Ayurveda too. A year ago, on August 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who came in the Bhoomi Pujan program for the construction of Ram temple, planted a Parijat plant in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex.
